Join us at JAX and help shape the future of human health. JAX Preclinical Services execute mouse in vivo studies for our external customers developing drugs in various areas. The Neurobiology department focuses its services on neurodegeneration, nerves and muscle diseases, epilepsy, and autism spectrum disorders, among others. JAX Preclinical Services assist industry and academic researchers in their drug development programs by conducting drug efficacy studies on carefully baselined and validated models. This position will focus on a variety of neurobiology indications including aging, autism spectrum disorder, neurodegeneration in the peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as muscle and heart diseases. The Scientist may be responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing scientific research projects, applying advanced methodologies and techniques to explore and expand knowledge within a specific discipline. They lead experiments, analyze data, and interpret results while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve research goals. The salary range for this position is $84,300 - $122,235, determined based on qualifications and experience.
