About The Position

Join Our Team as a Precision Golf Intern! Are you a student or emerging professional interested in the intersection of precision technology, agriculture, and the golf & turf industry? Stotz Equipment is offering a unique opportunity for a motivated intern to join our Precision Golf team. If you're excited about hands-on learning, modern GPS and GIS systems, and supporting real-world customers in a dynamic environment—this is the internship for you. As a Precision Golf Intern, you'll gain exposure to high-tech systems used in golf course and turf management, assist with customer training and support, and help our team install and maintain precision systems across our service area—from Orange County to North Los Angeles. This internship offers valuable field experience for students pursuing careers in agriculture technology, business, agronomy, or engineering.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a program related to Agriculture, Precision Tech, Engineering, Turf Science, or Business
• Strong interest in emerging ag/golf technologies and hands-on learning
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working both in-office and in outdoor environments
• Basic understanding of GPS, GIS, or ag software platforms is a plus
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel locally with the team
• Ability to travel to Arizona one week per month for training

Responsibilities

• Assist with field visits to troubleshoot and maintain GPS and precision turf equipment
• Support the setup and calibration of John Deere and third-party technology systems
• Help train customers and internal team members on precision tools and software
• Participate in software updates, system installs, and data entry in the John Deere Operations Center
• Observe and support customer consultations, including site evaluations and equipment recommendations
• Contribute to internal projects, clinics, and documentation efforts
