Build Your Career in Precision Forming — Greenwood, IN What will I do? You’ll set up and run a press brake on 1st or 3rd shift, forming custom parts to blueprint and work-instruction requirements. You’ll plan the work, execute accurate bends (offsets, large radii, standard), verify quality at each step, and keep detailed records in the Traverse Manufacturing System. How does a typical shift look? Review blueprints and operation sheets; determine tooling and order of operations. Perform machine setup and first-article checks. Run production, measuring parts with calipers (dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges to AQL standards. Track good/scrap counts; complete production paperwork and system entries. Report dimensional concerns to a supervisor or setup lead; immediately notify management of equipment issues. Maintain tools and gauges; keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year of related experience and/or training in press brake or metal fabrication. Ability to read/interpret blueprints and operation sheets and translate them into setups and forming operations. Experience setting up/operating a press brake and entering data in the Traverse Manufacturing System. Math skills with fractions, decimals, whole numbers, and standard units of measure. Proficiency in GD&T and blueprint reading. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. What’s in it for me?
