About The Position
Join TekPro as a Precision Machining Quality Assurance Inspector On second shift in our Hanover Park / Elk Grove Village area operations, you will be the final safeguard between precision machining and flawless delivery. Your day starts with a review of the production schedule and blueprints; it ends with the confidence that every part that leaves your hands meets spec. What a typical shift looks like Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined components Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints using GD&T to validate dimensions and tolerances Operate precision measuring instruments—micrometers, calipers, gauges—and other inspection equipment Record inspection outcomes, keep accurate quality documentation, and prepare reports Identify nonconforming parts, initiate and support corrective action activities Partner closely with production and engineering teams to sustain rigorous quality standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Fluency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles
- Hands-on skill with precision metrology tools and inspection equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a true commitment to product quality
- Ability to work 2nd shift
