About The Position

This role focuses on the detailed finishing and polishing of precision-machined components. The selected candidate will be responsible for refining surface finishes, removing imperfections, and ensuring each part meets strict cosmetic and dimensional standards prior to final inspection. This is a hands-on, detail-driven position requiring steady manual control, patience, and consistent quality discipline. It is not a general labor role; it requires fine motor precision and the ability to work carefully within regulated production standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or production environment
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify minor surface defects
• Ability to follow written work instructions and quality procedures
• Stable employment history within production environments
• Candidates without production experience or demonstrating frequent job changes will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with clean room or controlled production environments
• Technical training in manufacturing or mechanical assembly
• Experience working with small components requiring fine finishing work

Responsibilities

• Perform manual polishing and finishing of precision-machined components
• Remove surface defects while maintaining dimensional integrity
• Follow work instructions and documented finishing procedures
• Assemble multi-component parts when required
• Inspect finished surfaces for cosmetic and quality compliance
• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with facility standards
• Support production flow while maintaining consistent quality output
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors or quality personnel
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and regulatory guidelines
