About the Role: De-burr, and polish parts using a variety of hand tools and robotic arm. Washing and degreasing parts for subsequent operations. Perform complete and independent setup of various machine tools and perform any operation within the machine’s capacity, working from O.I.S., prints, sketches, oral and written instructions to determine the sequence of operations to be performed, dimensions and tolerances to be held, tools to use, method of locating, aligning and holding work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to work any shift

Responsibilities

Make machine adjustments for efficient machining operations.
As required, pre-set and/or sharpen cutting tools.
Recognize improper machine functions and take corrective action and provide information to resolve discrepancies.
Deburr and break edges of machine parts.
Maintain identification of machined parts as required.
Replenish coolant, change accessible filters and lubricate own machine tool as required.
Check and report damage.
May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with minimum 5 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
