For over 35 years, we have creatively blended function, durability, sanitary design, safety, and performance into the design and construction of Blentech systems. Our team is driven, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile. We are currently looking for a Precision Grinder and Bead Blaster to become part of our Manufacturing team. This position will assist our manufacturing and final assembly teams to complete machines and get them ready to ship. A few of the tasks will be grinding machine bodies, clean-up welding for fabricators, and bead blasting machines and parts. Assisting other areas in the manufacturing shop. This position is a 4-day 10-hours night shift. Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Precision Grinder and Bead Blasting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will prepare, grind, and bead blast materials and components to meet production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial tools, a commitment to safety, and a keen eye for precision.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in grinding, bead blasting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with industrial tools and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of safety practices in an industrial setting.
  • The ability to lift 40+ pounds and aptitude for grinding, bead blasting, and working safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift driving is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate grinding and bead blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare materials for processing, including cleaning and inspecting surfaces for imperfections, and sharp edges.
  • Follow detailed specifications to achieve desired surface finishes and textures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is in good working condition.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
