In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years of precision welding experience in precision frame manufacturing
  • Ability to maintain tight tolerance of +/-0.03 thousandths
  • Proficient with reading blueprints and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals (SOP's)
  • Must be proficient with the use of measuring tools & validating own work to print specifications
  • ASME Section 9 certification beneficial
  • AWS certifications beneficial (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3. D1.6)
  • Must be able to set up and maintain all welding machines and tools

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
  • Mig (GMAW) and Tig (GTAW) Welding Proficient, Experience in Welding Precision Sheet metal as Stainless Steel, aluminum and steel
  • Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders
  • Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool
  • Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
  • Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times
  • Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables
  • Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
