Precision CNC/Manual Machinist – Aerospace Motion Control

Kearfott ManufacturingBlack Mountain, NC

About The Position

What a day looks like You arrive, pull the latest operation sheets and blueprints, and plan your setups for the day. A multi-axis CNC mill gets prepped for a progressive operation, while a manual milling machine is dialed in for a critical one-off. You move between lathes, grinders, drill presses, hobs, hones, kummers, burnishers, and balancers—choosing tooling, loading programs, setting offsets, and making careful trial cuts. Throughout, you validate results with precision instruments and GD&T know‑how, and you’re the person others turn to when a setup needs troubleshooting or a junior teammate needs a hand.
