Your mission Own the setup and operation of 5-axis CNC milling centers to produce metallic parts to demanding requirements. From first article through steady production, you’ll safeguard quality, speed, and safety on every run.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two or more years of related machining experience/training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Study drawings, routings, and specifications; establish dimensions, tolerances, and the order of operations.
Visualize and execute complex multi-axis movements, up to and including 5-axis milling.
Set up, adjust, and verify CNC programs; operate mills and associated tooling with confidence.
Recognize malfunctions and out-of-tolerance conditions early; report process variations and make corrective adjustments within established limits.
Increase throughput by operating multiple machines concurrently.
Meet tight tolerance and surface finish requirements consistently.
Inspect with bore gages, rail gages, and ID/OD micrometers; log process variation using SPC charts.
