About The Position

As a Precision CNC Machine Operator, you will set-up, operate and maintain at least one process machine (3and/or 5 axis, rotary, assorted grinders, surface grinder, rotary grinders, Excello grinders, CBN grinders and EDM machines etc.) Maintain all quality and production records and assist with training as required. Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimal and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, writing diagrams, computer scanning devices, use of adjustable measuring instruments; checking of reports, forms, records and comparable data; interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
Ability to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes.
Ability to interpret and follow instructions, prescribed routines, methods and practices.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

2 years of related machining experience (manufacturing, industrial, labor related experience) preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform precision machine set-up and wheel changes in assigned workstation within standard set-up times.
Maintain all quality and production records including tooling calibration, daily walk around, etc.
Maintain productivity, utilization, schedule and quality records and comply with all standards.
Perform inspection of non-certified operators
Assist with training of Machine Trainees as required.
Perform Productive Maintenance duties.
Maintain 6S and other area housekeeping standards.
Participate and actively promote continuous improvement activities.
Achieve and maintain certified status.
