About The Position

Position Objective: Precision Agronomy Specialists will demonstrate full command of all systems that Central Advantage utilizes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Complete all aspects of Central Advantage service - Recommendations—write variable rate seed and fertilizer recommendations- Serve as a trusted agronomic advisor to growers, by analyzing their correlations to yield so they can make data based crop decisions- Planning—help growers create a crop plan each year- Precision technology support—updating equipment monitors, loading variable rate recommendations and troubleshooting- Data collection—collect all crop input applications from growers and enter into the Central Advantage Program- Following data entry protocols to ensure accurate results are delivered for both individual grower reports as well as group correlations- Deliver consistent grower experience across 30,000 to 45,000 acres Complete all aspects of NitrateNow service - Recommendations—write variable rate nitrogen recommendation - Precision technology support—load recommendations into equipment monitors and provide support Continually expand all programs through prospecting Build and maintain relationships with growers through interaction throughout all key times of year Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

  • Degree in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Agricultural Business or Precision Agriculture or equivalent job experience
  • Successfully communicate across multiple means (written, oral, nonverbal, digital)
  • Take collaborative approach to grower service
  • Flexible and adaptable?ability to navigate change

  • Positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Will obtain Class A license to pull weigh wagon, CFS will assist

Responsibilities

  • Complete all aspects of Central Advantage service

  • Continually expand all programs through prospecting
