About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Requirements

  • Familiarity with fabricating, inspecting and repairing metallic assemblies
  • Experience working with mechanical structures
  • Patience to perform with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to work with delicate materials and adhere to tight tolerances
  • Basic hand-tool experience such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers and crimpers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with poke tack welders and conformal coating
  • Experience and ability to interface with software systems such as Microsoft Office
  • At least 2 years experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Overlaying and spot welding of brazed foil
  • Bulge Forming
  • Overhead Crane Operation
  • Willing to work reasonable over time hours
