About The Position
Our client, an industry leader in precast concrete manufacturing and maintenance, is seeking a Plant Manager to join their growing team in Asheville, North Carolina. This company operates multiple precast concrete manufacturing sites and is looking for candidates who are eager for career growth and advancement. As a Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in directing and coordinating activities related to the production of the company's products. You will be part of an industry-leading safety culture and will receive extensive technical and career training, with opportunities for advancement when you are ready. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and directing production activities while establishing production priorities that align with effective operations and cost factors. You will coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and the utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. Additionally, you will review and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity with product specifications and address any operational or production issues. Your responsibilities will also include compiling, storing, and retrieving equipment checklists, as well as innovating, testing, and developing new products. Conducting safety meetings and production meetings will be part of your routine, along with ongoing teaching, training, and development of personnel. You will confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, manage budget and cost controls, and gather data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
