Precast Concrete Laborer
About The Position
As a Precast Laborer, you will work primarily on concrete fabrication responsibilities. You will work with a team who constructs formwork, assembles molds, preassembles rebar cages, mixes and places concrete, as well as finishing the cast concrete. Each unit is made to be picked off the truck and placed into the construction of a structure without additional field work. In order to accomplish your job tasks, you will operate hand and power tools related to both wood and metal work, and other equipment as needed. You will work to maintain a clean, and safe work environment for you and your colleagues. Your desire for variety will be satisfied as you assist your team with general labor duties and perform a variety of tasks needed to accomplish company goals. If you feel most fulfilled when working with your hands and putting in a good day's work, then this could be just what you're looking for.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use tools and equipment related to concrete fabrication.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks related to concrete fabrication.
- Ability to finish concrete or learn to finish concrete.
- Ability to perform general laborer duties.
