Pre Weigh Technician (3rd)

The Pre Weigh Technician is responsible for accurately weighing raw materials according to customer formulas and specifications, ensuring compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Accupac Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is critical in maintaining product quality, safety, and consistency.
Requirements
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Able to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) with both whole numbers and fractions
- Able to operate a forklift or pallet mover safely
- Able to perform tasks without constant supervision
- Possess a basic working knowledge of how to operate a computer or terminal
- Able to operate a pallet jack
Responsibilities
- Read, comprehend, and interpret written instructions to obtain raw materials in specified quantities.
- Requisition raw materials from the warehouse and verify information against documentation.
- Perform standard computations as required by customer specifications.
- Communicate any variances, deviations, or nonconformance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate records in logbooks and related documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections of scales and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of weighing equipment and work area.
- Follow all applicable SOPs, cGMPs, safety guidelines, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
