About The Position

The Pre-Stage Technician is responsible for preparing, configuring, and validating recycler systems used in banking and retail environments prior to installation. This role ensures each unit is accurately set up using customer-specific information so that installations are efficient, compliant, and operational from day one.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience with banking or retail technology preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic networking knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review customer documentation, including branch/store details and network configurations.
• Pre-stage recycler systems with customer-specific settings.
• Configure software, firmware, user profiles, and security parameters.
• Apply asset tagging, labeling, and documentation.
• Perform functional and connectivity testing.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection requirements.
• Document configurations and staging completion.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues prior to deployment.
• Collaborate with installation teams and stakeholders.
• All other duties as assigned.
