About The Position

Catholic Family and Community Services has been providing a full spectrum of services to individuals, families, and communities for over 75 years. We are currently seeking Pre-School Teachers for our Early Learning Programs located in Paterson, NJ. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. The role involves planning, organizing, and implementing instructional studies in accordance with guidelines from Creative Curriculums The System, while ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times. Our centers are known for their high-quality preschool education and supportive, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 Standard Certificate, CE or CEAS
• Familiarity with ECERS, NAEYC, Creative Curriculum preferred
• Strong oral and written English language skills
• An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish and/or Arabic) preferred
• First aid/CPR certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement instructional studies in accordance with guidelines from Creative Curriculums The System.
• Document the social/emotional, physical, language/literacy, mathematic, and cognitive development of all students.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Adhere to all licensing and school district requirements.
