Are you a preschool or early childhood teacher looking for an unconventional place to teach? Join our team at The Little Gym of Virginia Beach as one our preschool leads. A Pre School Lead Instructor will be in charge of our 3 day a week morning program, geared toward 3-5 year olds. It is play based and filled with imagination, art, sensory activities, and movement. You will have freedom and creativity in lesson planning while you follow a master learning objective list and unit guide. Join our team to help give our young students opportunities to love school and build a strong literacy and math foundation through engaging and dynamic lessons. And, each day you'll spend an hour in the gym having hands on fun as the kids develop coordination and gymnastics skills! If you like to move, play, and laugh while you teach, in a collaborative and supportive environment, this is the place for you. Bachelors Degree or 3-5 years of early childhood experience preferred. What we expect from you… Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!) Provide outstanding customer service and experience. We treat our members like family here. (sometimes a smile goes a long way!) Create a warm and fun environment for the Children each class. Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK! You’d fit in here if… You love having fun, encouraging kids and giving High-5’s! (A background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics helps as well) You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
