About The Position

Join the Mahaska Team as our Pre-Salesperson. We provide on-the-job training to help you gain the skills and experiences you will need to be a successful and independent Pre-Salesperson! Our ideal candidate is someone energetic, self-motivated, and hard-working. As a Pre-Salesperson, you will sell and place beverage products at established accounts throughout a designated route. This position offers huge growth opportunities – as your sales increase, so will your income as pay is based on commission. Training will be provided for all aspects of the position. We will give you the tools necessary to get the job done the Mahaska way.

Requirements

• Possess the ability to work independently
• Be financially driven and dependable
• Have excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver a two-wheel cart weighing up to 200 lbs
• Must have a driver’s license with a good driving record
• Be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Sell and place beverage products at established accounts throughout a designated route
• Deliver products
• Fill shelves and coolers
• Order and rotate products
• Manage account inventory
• Work with store managers to increase sales opportunities and gain new business
