The position involves building relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their business needs and challenges, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor for Sales. The role requires direct engagement with client business and technical stakeholders, including CxO level, to cultivate relationships and understand their key business challenges, strategy, and technical requirements. The candidate will demonstrate credibility and experience to advise clients on complex IT transformation initiatives and consulting engagements, leading conversations that cover the full breadth of DXC's GIS portfolio. The role also includes partnering with Sales to conduct detailed needs analysis, designing solutions that meet client needs, and collaborating with technical solution and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are competitive and innovative. Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing proposals and sales documentation, develop compelling solution responses, and work closely with post-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The position aims to expand and strengthen DXC's market presence for the GIS business through networking and industry conferences.

  • Build relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Work directly with client business and technical stakeholders up to CxO level.
  • Demonstrate credibility and experience to advise clients on complex IT transformation initiatives.

  • Act as an advisor for GIS to internal sales and account stakeholders across the Americas & UKI.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis to identify opportunities with clients for GIS business.
  • Design solutions that meet client needs, leveraging deep knowledge of GIS solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with technical solution and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client expectations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales documentation.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling written and verbal solution responses.
  • Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Expand and strengthen DXC's market presence for the GIS business through networking and industry conferences.
  • Utilize industry expertise to shape and drive DXC's strategic initiatives.
  • US Citizenship.
  • 15+ years of experience in the infrastructure domain with large global Service Integrators/Providers.
  • 5+ years of experience in presales, solutions, and supporting competitive pursuits.
  • Experience as Presales Technical Consultant supporting Infrastructure Services.
  • Deep understanding of IT outsourcing business model.
  • Deep knowledge of latest global infrastructure trends and emerging technologies.
  • Competitive financial knowledge of the Infrastructure Services market.
  • Working experience with Third-Party Advisors in competitive pursuits.
  • Strong executive level communication and presentation skills.
  • Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Expert-level knowledge in more than one of DXC's GIS portfolio areas.
  • Possess multiple technology certifications and industry-leading certifications.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to public cloud.
  • Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, Observability, DevOps, FinOps, Big Data, Machine Learning.
