This position reports to Sales Support Manager. Your role and responsibilities include providing timely support to ABB Sales, ABB Distributors, Specification Engineers, Contractors, and End Users. The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years with ABB and GE products.
  • In depth knowledge of ABB and GE and competitor residential, distribution, and control products, including load centers, transformers, modular metering, industrial breakers, panel boards, motor control, pushbuttons, safety switches, and programming MODBUS.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in English with US Customers via the phone and email.
  • Electrical distribution experience.
  • Engineering background.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales support for ABB electrical distribution and control products.
  • Promote ABB Sales opportunities by providing timely competitor-to-ABB product cross-reference support.
  • Assist customers and sales with accurate product selection for the intended application use (form, fit, and function).
  • Interact with Technology (R D), Supply Chain (factory) and Product Management to provide commercial solutions for customers.
  • Work cross functionally with global teams.
  • Document customer cases and actions using case tracking tool, Salesforce.
  • Answer customer phone calls as needed.
