About The Position

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Stringing Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to Infravision’s sales team across North America, with a particular focus on the United States where major growth opportunities exist. The role bridges sales, engineering, and operations by ensuring customer proposals and contracts are underpinned by accurate technical planning, while also supporting customer interactions and technical workshops.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a stringing engineer on transmission construction projects, preferably as a contractor.
  • Strong technical expertise in transmission line stringing methods, including draw wire and full conductor installation.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies for stringing (e.g., drones, synthetic ropes, new block systems) highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience preparing stringing plans, project estimates, and scopes of work for large-scale transmission projects.
  • Experience engaging directly with customers in pre-sales, bid support, or technical sales environments.
  • Understanding of commercial contracting processes for EPC or utility projects.
  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related).

  • Experience in the electric power / cleantech industries.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United States, Canada, India, and Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Infravision’s drone-enabled stringing methods during customer meetings, workshops, and proposal discussions.
  • Navigate across multiple customer business units to foster strong technical relationships, build trust, and identify additional opportunities for Infravision.
  • Support the sales team in articulating the value proposition of drone-enabled stringing solutions through technical presentations, benefit analyses, and case studies.
  • Develop detailed stringing project plans (pilot line, draw wire and full conductor) to enable accurate contracts, proposals, and resource forecasts.
  • Coordinate the technical input into proposals and scopes of work, including quantification of engineering, operational, and resource requirements for project bids.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical scopes aligned with Infravision capabilities.
  • Lead the technical handover from Sales to Operations once contracts are executed, ensuring project teams have accurate and complete information.
  • Provide customer-facing benefit analyses pre and post project to demonstrate ROI and strengthen the case for product expansion.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to create and maintain technical materials, collateral, and case studies for use in the sales process.
  • Gather structured feedback from customers to inform product development priorities and ensure Infravision’s roadmap aligns with market needs.
