About The Position

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced PreSales Solutions Consultant to join our Digital Thread PMO team supporting Life Science, Consumer Products & Retail, and Energy & Utilities industries. In this specialized role, you will work closely with our PreSales PMO Manager, Sales, Marketing and Portfolio teams to develop and deliver technical content for our sales process to direct customers. As a PreSales Solutions Consultant on the PMO team, you will contribute to the development of clear, concise, and effective demonstration content to showcase our solutions across digital threads. By supporting agile methodologies for project management of content development, you will help accelerate delivery of content to progress opportunities at customer accounts. You will also contribute to the global effort of standardization of our digital thread content for the Growth Markets industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of technical experience in application development, solution engineering, presales, or consulting services in regulated industries
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand needs and develop creative solutions
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for technology and driving business results
• High level of initiative, teamwork, flexibility, willingness to learn
• Ability to travel up to 15%, with a varying travel schedule depending on needs of the business

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of technical experience in application development, solution engineering, presales, or consulting services in regulated industries
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Experience with using public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with using Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Siemens tools and applications

Responsibilities

• Develop digital thread content and scenarios for Growth Markets industries (Life Science, Consumer Products & Retail, and Energy & Utilities)
• Create and maintain industry demonstration environments that showcase Siemens' digital enterprise solutions
• Support agile delivery processes for content development
• Assist in coordinating resources across the zone for digital thread deliverables and PreSales opportunity execution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Siemens' technical presentations and software demonstrations
• Support knowledge transfer of digital thread concepts to sales professionals and other solution consultants
• Maintain understanding of product capabilities and communicate gaps to Product Development through PMO Manager
• Collaborate with Industry Marketing on Digital Thread messaging, collateral, and alignment to scenarios and PreSales execution
• Assist in managing AWS environments for common industry environments, demonstration environments, and customer proof of concepts
• Support customer workshops and assist in technical conversations and customer adoption of our solutions
• Respond to support requests from PreSales and Sales teams, including content for presentations, demonstrations, assessments, and RFP responses
• Prototype customer processes within Siemens' software for demonstration and content development purposes
• Document best practices and contribute to standardization of digital thread content across Growth Markets
