Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience as a pre-sales engineer, solution consultant, or client-facing service role in a B2B SaaS environment serving the enterprise market.
  • Experience leading client-facing presentations and conversations, particularly in the pre-sales technical evaluation process.
  • Expertise in guiding clients through data mapping, API functionality, and cloud-based integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to enlist internal stakeholders to help navigate solution-finding.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to exercise independence, autonomy, and sound judgment in making recommendations and decisions to prospective clients and colleagues.
  • Strong desire to work in the dynamic atmosphere of a rapidly expanding SaaS organization.
  • 4-year university degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with facilities, human resources, or reporting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead effective product and technical demonstrations and discussions that uncover key needs and align the value of our solutions with the client's pain points and business objectives.
  • Work closely with account executives, colleagues, and prospective clients to build and maintain strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor, working progressively toward positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with other groups within the organization to investigate and assemble the information needed to solve prospect challenges, leading these efforts and bringing back solutions to sellers.
  • Update knowledge documentation to benefit others.
  • Tailor product configurations and demo environments to address general needs, product releases, and specific client requirements, ensuring seamless presentations and confidence in our capabilities.
  • Facilitate hands-on evaluations of our software to demonstrate its effectiveness and suitability for the client's environment, and create or update materials that support these activities including videos, written content, and quantified impacts.
  • Assist in the development of RFP responses and other documentation required during the sales process.
  • Collect insights from client interactions to inform product development, identify new opportunities, and improve our offerings.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of our software, competitors, and industry trends to effectively communicate and document our value and competitive advantages.
  • Communicate with the account executive and professional services team to provide seamless transitions for client implementation kickoff meetings.
