About The Position

As a Property and Casualty Presales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales success by supporting presales initiatives and ensuring prospects understand the value of our solutions. Key responsibilities include: Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to support opportunities through discovery calls, qualifying prospects, and delivering tailored solution demonstrations. RFx Responses: Lead and contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and other RFx responses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs. Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demos that highlight key features and benefits to prospects and customers. Discovery & Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand client challenges and determine fit for our Property and Casualty solutions. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market shifts, providing insights to the sales team. Trade Shows & Conferences: Represent the company at industry events, engaging with prospects and promoting solutions. Travel: Travel as needed for on-site meetings, conferences, and trade shows, with a preference for the East Coast and non-preferred on the West Coast. Competitor Analysis: Maintain an understanding of competitor offerings and how our solutions differentiate in the market. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with client needs.

Requirements

  • Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong background in the insurance industry, with a focus on Property and Casualty. Experience with both Property and Casualty and Life and Wealth is ideal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable learning and demonstrating complex solutions and systems. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed, with a preference for the East Coast and non-preferred on the West Coast.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends (business and statutory), competitor offerings, and client challenges.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
