About The Position

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Design Solutions Architect to spearhead the growth of our design services business in the United States. This unique role blends sales leadership with design expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UX/UI or digital design and the ability to translate that expertise into compelling client solutions. You will represent our South Africa-based design team, positioning their capabilities to US clients, driving revenue growth, and helping organizations elevate their digital experiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years in UX/UI design, product design, or digital strategy with strong business development experience.
• Demonstrated success in consultative sales, with a track record of closing large, complex deals ($1M+).
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
• Deep knowledge of design methodologies, user research, and modern digital design practices.
• Based in the US with flexibility to travel domestically for client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for UX/UI design services, from prospecting to closing.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, communicating the value of human-centered design and digital transformation.
• Lead design-focused conversations, including discovery workshops, heuristic evaluations, and design-led strategy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with pre-sales, delivery, and marketing to craft proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
• Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise-level opportunities, ensuring quota achievement.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in the US and South Africa to align resources and delivery expectations.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences to drive brand visibility.
