About The Position

This is a regular part-time position in the Pre-Post/ and PACU department working 8 hour shifts and 32 hours weekly. While this position is primarily day shift, schedules are dictated by the surgery schedule and needs of the department. The position reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Call rotation is required, and the applicant must be within 45 minutes of the facility at all times while on call.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
• Pre-Post, PACU, and Infusion experience required.
• Critical care experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.

Nice To Haves

• Chemotherapy Certification preferred.
• PICC line placement experience preferred.
• 1-year Medical-Surgical experience in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Accountable for professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Complete assigned course work as deemed necessary.
• Cross train in other perioperative services departments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
