Serialize guns as required; wipes, dips, or brushes with oil as needed. Applies marking compound, wipes, waxes, and reassembles. Attaches proper tags, labels, etc. to guns. Records pertinent information and enters information into computer as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sets up and operates serial numbering machine and label printing computer. Operates serial numbering machine by positioning firearm in fixture and operating controls. Exercises high degree of caution to insure proper numbering sequence and legibility of serialization. Keep accurate records. Counts products, components, materials, as required. Maintains computerized databases and stays current with systems application and changes. Receives quantities of guns on work orders and into the warehouse. Must have working knowledge of proper packing procedures, by model, and communicate such information to packers as needed. Work closely with warehouse coordinator to prioritize orders for shipment. Uses prescribed methods to maintain quality standards. Transports and maintains material and supplies within area. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Follows specific safety and operating procedures. May train or instruct others how to perform this job. May perform other related duties as assigned
