Located on a 330,000 square foot lot on 11th Avenue between 53rd and 54th Streets, Mercedes-Benz Manhattan is the only Mercedes-Benz dealership in the country owned and operated by Mercedes-Benz, delivering an uncompromising inventory of new and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz luxury vehicles and Sprinter Vans. The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Pre-Owned Sales Consultant is to provide superior customer service while selling pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Must have 3-5 years of luxury vehicle sales experience (MB experience preferred)
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Work Holidays when required,
  • Must have flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to articulate and communicate with customers competently.

Responsibilities

  • provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistently outstanding preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding the lease/purchase of a new/pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
  • Achieve required survey results.
  • Must meet annual training requirements.
  • Must be flexible to accommodate customers needs (appointment)
  • Secure customers personal information (license, credit application)
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by confirming orders with customers, sending written communications for timely transactions.
  • Assist customers with all aspects of vehicle ownership, including but not limited to scheduling service appointments, assisting with lease maturities, acting as a liaison for Collision Center inquiries, following up on DMV issues, procuring any and all missing documentation for financing, and supplying Sales Managers with accurate order status.
  • Calculate lease and purchase options for customer and quote accurate payments.
  • Follow up with customers to obtain referrals and repeat business.
  • Sell/lease as many vehicles as required by MBM's annual minimum standards.
  • Maintain/update customer information in company databases.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.
