This individual will be onboarded and complete training at our First Texas Honda dealership and then move to North Austin Nissan once the store opens on June 1st! Why apply to North Austin Nissan? We provide intensive paid sales training for a customer-centric buying experience. Sales Consultants will learn and master auto sales within a value creation sales experience focused on customers needs while also learning and mastering Nissan product knowledge. Sales Consultants will then guide customers through the purchase experience in a negotiation-free environment. Sales experience is preferred, but not required. If you are an individual who is ambitious and willing to learn, we are willing to train! Due to North Austin Nissan eagerness to develop/train new sales consultants, we offer a $4,000.00 per month training pay guaranteed to provide financial security throughout the training process.

Requirements

  • Education - Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Prior automotive sales experience is preferred
  • Skills/Aptitudes - Strong verbal and written communication ability, strong listening skills, ability to take instruction and follow direction, punctuality, strong customer focus and a growth mindset
  • Miscellaneous - Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a clean driving record, social security card, completed job application, and completion of drug screening
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Growth mindset, emotional stability, ability to work on a team, and strong customer service focus

Nice To Haves

  • English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus

Responsibilities

  • To identify the customers needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle
  • Conduct the product presentation
  • Perform the demonstration drives
  • Ask customers to purchase the vehicle
  • Constant improvement in vehicle and process knowledge and in educating the customer on products and processes
  • Assisting customers at initial contact, professional follow up, and after the purchase
  • Track customers through meticulous input of information into database
  • Follow up by phone, email, and documentation of all communication
  • Desire to learn and understand vehicle financing and to be comfortable presenting financing options to customers
  • Ability to be advanced to an elite product specialist able to take the customer from initial greeting through the entire sales experience ending with the presentation of all ancillary financial products and the signing of all purchase documents
  • Meticulous eye for detail in all paperwork
  • Creation of purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation
  • Strict adherence to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines
