About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or an Associate's Degree in Nursing with equivalent experience.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license.
• BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or military training.
• Acute Care RN work experience required.
• OR experience preferred, but candidates with experience in Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, Cardiovascular Lab, or ICU with at least 2 years of experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
• New graduates who have completed a practicum in the OR are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a surgical setting.
• Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
