This is a local driving position but 6 months of OTR experience within the last two years is required for an application to be considered.

Requirements

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CDL is required for this position.
Must have a strong work history and great customer service skills.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum 6 months experience OTR with 53-ft trailer required - must be within the last two years.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must have valid CDL with clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to being hired.

Responsibilities

Transporting empty & clean trailers to customer and/or drop yard locations.
Transporting loaded trailers to the yard to allow drivers to drop-and-hook from the yard rather than the customer location.
Completing pre-trip & post-trip inspections on trucks & trailers.
Cleaning truck daily after use.
Cross-training to tank wash responsibilities may be required during down time.
Performs related work as required.
Overnight Availability required.
