This is located in Westminster and we prefer being bilingual in Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Farsi or Russian. We are seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist for our CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services program. As a Pre-Licensed Therapist, you will work to ensure mental health treatment services are provided in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. Providing individual, group, family and couples counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, education and vocational development and adjustment. This program does not bill Medi-Cal and is a cost-based program. This program also qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school
- Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
- Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
