We are Rocky Mountain Prep, a movement comprised of incredible educators, families, scholars, and advocates who are changing the face of public education in Colorado by democratizing college access and preparation for historically marginalized students and families. On paper, we are a network of twelve college preparatory charter schools in the Denver metro area serving students as young as twelve weeks through twelfth grade. But we are so much more than this. During the 2024-2025 school year, RMP is driving after five big goals: 85% Staff Retention 100% of campuses going green & ECE-2nd grade students growing an average of 1.25 years in math and reading 100% of seniors accepted into college 40% of 3rd-8th grade students meet their Accelerated Reader millionaire goal RMP meets its network enrollment goal Role Mission Paraprofessionals (Paras) at Rocky Mountain Prep help foster a culture of learning by supporting the lead teacher with whole and small-group instruction and day-to-day classroom duties. Our Paras develop meaningful relationships with scholars and families, support the recruitment and enrollment of scholars, and demonstrate a “by any means necessary” work ethic to ensure our scholars are receiving the support they deserve in a safe, rigorous, and loving environment. Paraprofessionals drive student goals by supporting them one-on-one, in groups, or by facilitating small-group activities that help students build their sensory skills, motor skills, life skills, and social-emotional skills.
