PRE K PARAPROFESSIONAL
About The Position
The Pre-Kindergarten Paraprofessional supports the academic, social, and emotional development of preschool students by working closely with the classroom teacher, special education staff, and school leadership. This role is essential in helping students stay engaged, providing accommodations, and fostering a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment. Depending on assignment, the paraprofessional may serve in a 1:1, classroom-wide, or crisis support role.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Bilingual skills or a willingness to learn a second language is a plus
- Current authorization to work in the United States
