About The Position

Kids N Us is seeking an enthusiastic Pre Kindergarten 2 Teacher to join their team. The role involves planning and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child enrolled in their care. The company is willing to train the right person, indicating that prior experience is not strictly necessary for a suitable candidate.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two years related experience and/or training
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid TB skin test
Valid Proof of MMR
Valid Proof of Covid Vaccine or Approved Exemption
Valid food handlers permit
Valid first aid and CPR card
Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course)
Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)

Responsibilities

Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
Bring a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day.
Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions for a group of children.
Cultivate positive relationships with the children, families, teachers, and staff.
Implement school curriculum and assess developmental needs of students.
