About The Position
The position requires a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) in English, with the option to submit a High School Transcript. Candidates must meet one of the following options: Option 1 includes having forty-eight (48) university, college, and/or vocational level hours with core subjects from an accredited institution, or an Associate's (or higher) Official Transcript/Diploma. Additionally, candidates should have experience working with students or parents in approved settings such as church-related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, or licensed daycare centers. Option 2 is for current full-time Brownsville ISD employees who possess a Valid Educational Aide Certification and have met rigorous standards to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to assist in instruction through formal assessments.
