About The Position

As a PreK Teacher at Cowlicks and Pigtails Child Care Center, you’ll help educate and care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a preschool environment required
• Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
• Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
• Shows initiative, strong work ethic
• High school diploma, college preferred
• MA EEC License required

Responsibilities

• Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels
• Document learning experience through displays and pictures
• Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
• Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for Prekindergartners
• Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
• Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment
