VACANCY NOTICE 2025 - 2026 School Year November 21, 2025 Indian Neck School Special Education Paraeducator - PreK 10-month position Hourly Rate: $19.37 per bargaining unit contract Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the ParaPro assessment

  • Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
  • Assists the teacher with classroom duties and setup and preparing and maintain classroom materials and supplies
  • Provide specific modifications, and/or accommodations, for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions, performing task analysis, reading assignments or tests, document instructions and organize homework assignments.
  • Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the ParaPro assessment
