We are on the lookout for dedicated professionals like YOU to oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by GA Dept of Early Care and Learning, and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum. Your role involves creating a nurturing and positive environment for our children and their families, fostering strong bonds and supporting their comprehensive development. You will be responsible for designing and executing learning experiences that encompass a broad range of developmental areas including physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression. Moreover, you'll conduct regular assessments to monitor the children's progress, tailoring the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities. Upholding health and safety protocols is paramount in your role, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision. Your dedication to these responsibilities will be instrumental in guiding our young learners towards a bright future.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or possess a Bachelor's Degree in another field but have also obtained an Associate's Degree in ECE, a Technical College Diploma or Certificate in ECE, a Montessori Teaching Diploma accredited by MACTE, or a valid Preschool CDA credential, and are able to pass a background check.
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
