You will lead the development and implementation of engaging curricula that fosters literacy, math, and social skills while ensuring each child's unique needs are met. Your expertise in classroom management and behavior management will help cultivate a positive learning atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth. What you'll do Design and implement innovative lesson plans that align with the Archdiocese of Louisville Early Education standards. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the developmental needs of each child. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's social interactions and emotional development. Provide opportunities for students to wok in small and large groups. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress. Assess students through play, engagement and observation. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Promote physical education through active play, ensuring children develop motor skills while having fun. Collaborate with K-8 teachers to ensure consistency in educational strategies. Adhere to the Division of Regulated Child Care (DRCC) state regulations.
