Your day as a Paraprofessional (Pre-K Counts) As a Part Time Paraprofessional in our Pre-K Counts classroom at Child Advocates of Blair County, you'll be at the heart of enhancing the educational experience for young learners! Your role will involve collaborating with the Pre-K Teacher and Teacher Assistant to implement an individualized, intentional curriculum that fosters growth through engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with PA Early Learning Standards. You’ll plan enriching Health, Safety, and Nutrition activities, helping children develop essential skills. In addition to creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment, you'll contribute to daily observations of child progress, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported. You'll play a vital role in welcoming parents into the classroom, facilitating their involvement, and assisting with special events throughout the year. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers
  • Excellent communication skills
