Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA credential.
• Experience: Previous experience with preschool-aged children required
• Licenses/Certifications:Valid driver’s license (preferred) Acts 33/34 and FBI clearances
• Ability to complete 24 hours of annual in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the PKC Teacher in planning and implementing activities aligned with PA Early Learning Standards and individual education programs (IEPs).
• Preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom organization.
• Supporting children’s personal care needs and supervising during meals and activities.
• Communicating with parents and participating in family engagement activities.
• Collecting data to monitor student progress and reporting behavioral or health concerns.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions.
