Expected salary range of $28.02 to $34.25, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position The Pre-Journeyman - Plumbing Service technician performs a wide range of plumbing services for residential customers and promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers.
Requirements
- Apprentice License holder for 4 years
- Completed 7,500 hours of training under control and direction of a licensed master plumber
- Advanced knowledge of the tools and materials related to the plumbing service field
- Must possess advanced ability to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
- Advanced ability in the usage of sewer cleaning machines
- Advanced skills in customer relations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Advanced skills in sales with the ability to recommend and promote all services offered by the company
- Ability to work weekends and overtime
- Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Installs and modifies existing plumbing equipment according to installation instructions, supervisor instructions and all applicable county or city codes.
- Performs minimal service on steam boilers with supervision.
- Performs a wide range of plumbing services to include repair or replacement of faucets, toilets, domestic water lines and drain lines.
- Modifies and fabricates pipe fittings as needed per installation.
- Identifies electrical, plumbing and safety problems that apply to the installation and takes necessary corrective action.
- Performs clerical duties necessary to complete requests for service.
