See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview : As part of the talented Pre Fab team, you will be a skilled and detail-oriented professional responsible for utilizing tools while cutting kits from a variety of materials such as fiberglass, wood and bulk materials. You will need to read blueprints, schematics and bills of material to provide the essential kits to our line of legendary boats. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements could include safety glasses, hard hats, full face respirators, dust masks, gloves, and chemical resistant suits Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (may be above 100 ambient degrees or below 10 ambient degrees in areas of production) Ability to work in a fiberglass dust environment and a fast paced, noisy environment Ability to work overtime (planned and unplanned) Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • Must always follow all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Proactive team player who is a self-starter with constant attention to improvement.
  • Strong mechanical
  • Experience reading blueprints is preferred
  • Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • Ability to work with fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
  • Ability to read and/or hear, interpret and/or understand instructions given verbally or written and exchange accurate information with others.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and method
  • Ability to remain extremely focused and organized with a high-attention to detail / high degree of accuracy.
  • Able to work with multiple priorities and people.
  • High school diploma or GED required
