THE ROLE We're looking for a Pre-Dev Software Engineering Intern to join the On-The-Go (OTG) Pre-Dev Team and support the prototyping and implementation of embedded and research tools for next-generation Bose devices. In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in C programming
- Experience with Git version control
- Familiarity with Python development
- Understanding of unit testing, debugging techniques, and data structures
Nice To Haves
- Participation in relevant student organizations or technical clubs (e.g., IEEE, ACM) is a plus
- No formal certifications required, but coursework or projects in embedded systems or IoT is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Develop and test embedded software features using C for OTG products
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with the team on code reviews and debugging
- Contribute to the development of a Raspberry Pi-based research tool using Python
