About The Position

An Automotive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician prepares new or used vehicles for customer delivery by performing rigorous quality checks, cleaning, and light repairs. They ensure vehicles are clean, functional, and meet manufacturer standards. Including checking fluids, removing shipping materials, and testing electronics.

Requirements

• Previous automotive, detailing, or technician experience is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: High focus on quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and, in some cases, RV or marine systems.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspections: Thoroughly check interior/exterior for damage, dents, or scratches, and verify all major components work.
• Preparation: Remove protective shipping materials, update software, and set up radio/clock.
• Detailing: Wash and vacuum vehicles, including removing seat covers and floor mat installation.
• Maintenance: Check fluids, tire pressure, and fill fuel tanks.
• Functional Testing: Test electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.
