About The Position

Minimum Qualifications Current Knowledge of: Dental school educational processes. Restorative and preventive information and technique. Dental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment. Experience: No previous teaching or practice experience is required for pre-clinical instruction Minimum three years of dental private practice experience for clinical instruction and supervision of patient care. Education: DDS / DMD or international equivalent Completion of training from an accredited dental school program. Licenses/Certifications Active license to practice dentistry Valid CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Ability to: Communicate effective with a diverse population of patients. students, staff, faculty and administration. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work effectively in a group setting. Reflect, self-assess, and think critically. Maintain confidentiality of information. Demonstrate professional judgment in all situations. Experience: Previous teaching or practice experience is preferred Other: Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
