About The Position

A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking non-exempt Pre-Clinical Adjunct Faculty on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus. Adjunct faculty members provide hands-on, pre-clinical instruction to first and second year dental students.

Requirements

• Please note that adjunct positions are only filled on an as-needed basis.
• DDS, DMD, or BD degree
• Team oriented
• Willing to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff in a collegial manner

Responsibilities

• Instruct an assigned group of first- or second-year dental students in a simulated patient-care (laboratory) environment
• Assess and record students’ daily progress using standardized grading criteria
• Assist with grading of students’ SOAP notes, professionalism, and daily laboratory projects
• Attend required faculty calibration sessions
• Other duties as assigned
